When I say Lexi does what sets her soul on fire, I mean it! The thrill and bravery of being a firefighter runs through her blood. Lexi is a junior firefighter alongside her dad who is a volunteer firefighter with the Fairfax Fire Department. For her recent senior session, we started out at none other than the Fairfax Fire Department where Lexi geared up and looked fierce as ever. With the lights going on the fire truck and some smoke effect rolling through, it was pure perfection. Because I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Lexi ever since she was born, and I used to work with her mom years ago, this session with such a sweet girl felt extra special. I have also had the opportunity to take her pictures several times over the years so this was really the icing on the cake!

Besides the fire station, we found some really beautiful areas along the trail and bridge in Fairfax. Lexi plays volleyball at Prairie High School so she donned her black and orange jersey to represent her team. She was also joined by her two furry friends for a few pictures! How cute and fluffy are they?! There's nothing sweeter than a girl with her pups! I know it’s not always easy taking pictures with pets but I think it’s always so worth it. They are like family so capturing them in photos with my seniors is another way to remember this important time in their lives!

As we are slowly starting to transition from summer to fall, Lexi had some of the cutest outfits to compliment the changing of the seasons. She wore jeans with a variety of solid tops but my favorite was definitely the burnt orange jumper. I mean, it just gave me all the fall vibes and looked absolutely gorgeous on her with the greenery surrounding her. We had the most beautiful sky with the golden sunset peeking through the trees. It looked like the sky was on fire and Lexi was truly glowing! We had such a fun night together with lots of laughs and I couldn't have asked for a better way to start off my September senior sessions!
